I haven't seen anything in microcomputer virtual terminals that excited me since I replaced IBM DOS with OS/2. Finally, Microsoft has come out with Windows Terminal. It's available in the Microsoft Store.
I just found out about it from a post by Dimitris Poulopoulos. It allows multiple tabs, just like we've gotten used to with modern browsers. It supports the basic command prompt, a Windows PowerShell prompt, and more. It allows the normal sort of cut & paste we're used to in every other modern GUI program.
The only thing I found so far that I don't like is the scroll bar is nearly hidden until you mouse over it. That's what Microsoft has been moving toward since Windows 8 or so; I hated it when I first saw it, and I still do.
